This privacy policy explains how TeKanAid Solutions Inc. ("TeKanAid Solutions", "we", "our", "us") handles information collected through tekanaidsolutions.com and the services we sell directly from this site, including AI infrastructure consulting and audience sponsorships. TeKanAid Solutions Inc. is a Canadian company and is the data controller for information collected through this site.
This policy applies only to tekanaidsolutions.com and the services we run directly from it. Other properties in the TeKanAid Solutions portfolio, including tekanaid.com, academy.tekanaid.com, povdemo.com, and nextemr.com, have their own privacy policies. If you are using any of those services, please refer to the policy posted on that site.
This is a working baseline policy. We are publishing it in good faith while we finalize a full review with our legal counsel. If you have specific requirements, please reach out so we can address them directly.
Information we collect
We collect a small amount of information, only what we need to respond to inquiries and run the site.
- Information you submit through forms. When you fill in a contact form, sponsorship inquiry, or media kit request, we collect the information you provide, typically your name, email address, company, and the contents of your message.
- Email correspondence. If you email us directly at info@tekanaid.com or support@tekanaid.com, we keep that correspondence so we can follow up.
- Analytics and cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site. This includes basic analytics such as page views, referrers, and approximate location at the country level.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs that may include IP addresses, user agent strings, and request paths. These are used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us and we will delete it.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry, send you a media kit, or follow up on a consulting or sponsorship conversation;
- send you transactional messages directly related to a request you made;
- understand which pages and topics are useful so we can improve the site;
- protect the site from abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
- meet our legal and accounting obligations as a Canadian company.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the information collected on this site for advertising retargeting outside of our own properties.
Third parties we use
We rely on a small number of vendors to run the site. The current list is:
- Mautic for transactional and marketing email related to forms you submit.
- Google Analytics for aggregated, non-identifying site analytics.
- Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, and protection against abuse.
Each of these vendors has its own privacy practices. We share only what is needed for the service to function and we have made reasonable efforts to use providers that respect data protection norms.
Data retention
We keep inquiry information (form submissions, email threads, sponsorship and consulting follow-ups) for up to three years after the last interaction, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider, typically thirty days. Analytics data is kept according to the default Google Analytics retention setting.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- request that we correct information that is inaccurate;
- request that we delete information we hold about you, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain it;
- withdraw consent for marketing email at any time, including by clicking unsubscribe in any message we send.

International transfers
We are based in Canada. Our vendors may store and process data in other jurisdictions, including the United States. By using this site you understand that your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email where appropriate.
